Barcelona has just created a new Internet portal, Barcelona Innova, to spread and extend innovation to the
city. The website has been launched by the City Council's Local Development Agency to
promote and strengthen the spirit of innovation as a key element for competitiveness and growth
in the city.
The main objectives of the new website, Barcelona Innova, are to present and spread
the innovation that already exists and that is currently being created in Barcelona,
and to contribute
to spreading this innovative culture among entrepreneurs, professionals, small companies and the
city's population as a whole.
